Rural Life Lately & Chisholm On Rewind
Spring is right around the corner and it's time to roll up our sleeves and get to work!
🌾Rural Life Lately
We are breaking ground this week on the farmhouse. Much of winter we spent plotting, planning, estimating, and dreaming. Our next step is to drill into the land and determine the difficulty of excavating the foundation.
Much like life and your finances, we have a blueprint—but weather, delays, supply chain issues, and other unknowns will impact even the best laid plans. Knowing this, we are preparing for a season of pivoting and adjusting to all the things we cannot control when it comes to building a home.
While we patiently work through the construction, we will get started working the land and I’m eager to start rehabbing an old orchard that was left to run wild.
The water is high with all the melting snow and the wind is wild with the coming of spring in the North Country.
